About The Founder

Hey! Thank you so much for your interest in Let’s Relate Better.

My name is Rebecca and I am the founder of Let’s Relate Better: Relationship, Chronic Illness and Neurodivergence Coaching.

I have a Level 2 in Counselling Skills (RQF) and a Level 2 in Mental Health First Aid as well as experience as a volunteer Crisis Response Operator.

I live outside Manchester. I really enjoy hanging out with my lovely family and terrorising my nephew! I also love gaming and going to concerts with my wonderful partner and amazing friends and I would have tea intravenously if I could. My favourite defence mechanism is deflection through humour so, be wary, that might rear its head in coaching sessions!

My Why

For as long as I can remember, I have found relationships, of all types, fascinating and have always sought to develop relationship and communication skills to be a happier and more fulfilled, connected and emotionally-aware person.

It is a journey everyone is on, to various conscious or unconscious degrees, but I want to document that learning and distill what I have gathered into creating and being a helpful resource for others.

This is important to me as, in seeking for a way to feel purpose in my own life, I work to demystify issues around for example, relationships, chronic illness and neurodivergence, to allow people to relate in a more effective, authentic and empathetic way.

Helping people to relate better as individuals, I believe, drives happiness, connection, and progress in all contexts, and contributes meaningfully to ameliorate individual, community and societal standards and quality of life.
